Gusts of Up to 100mph at Columbia River Gorge

Photojournalist Mike Warner took his camera up to the Vista House; an historic viewpoint on a cliff that overlooks the Columbia River Gorge in Oregon. Warner said that two weatherspotters who were at the Vista House at the time recorded wind speeds as high as 103mph. The winds were so strong that Warner had difficulty in even speaking, as this video shows. Credit: Mike Warner
