President Obama and French President Francois Hollande have officially begun talks at the White House on Tuesday.
The two leaders will discuss topics such as Iran, Syria, and a U.S.-European Union trade deal.
Following the talks, the two will hold a joint news conference.
Tuesday night, a state dinner will be held to honor Hollande. The dinner will feature aged rib-eye beef, American wine and a musical performance by Mary J. Blige.
