British police have arrested four people on alleged Syria-related terrorism offences.

One of four arrested is former Guantanamo Bay prisoner and well-known British activist, Moazzam Begg.

He is suspected of attending a terrorist training camp, and facilitating terrorism overseas.

No charges have been brought against him or the other three suspects.
