This collection featured a looser, less restrictive silhouette than seen previously on Donatella’s runways, but don’t be fooled, this collection was just as unashamedly sexual and brilliantly provocative as ever. The central concept was the bias-cut dress, which allows for greater freedom of movement and skims rather than clings to the body. Flowing gowns constructed from panels of silk and satin were slashed to reveal bits of skin. Voluminous trapeze-style coats were detailed with military accents--specifically the gold buttons.
