Vietnam's government says it's spotted two large oil slicks in the sea off its southern coast that could be from a missing Malaysian Airlines flight.

Radio contact was lost with the Boeing 777 40 minutes after it left Kuala Lumpur on it' way to Beijing.

227 passengers and a crew of 12 were on board.
