The fracking fluid and chemicals market has been facing problems due to the government regulations that are imposed to prevent the use of harmful fluids and chemicals in fracturing. Fracturing of a reserve is a critical process; hence a number of chemicals, each with a specific property need to be added in the fluid to meet the required properties. A few of these chemicals, although useful for fracturing, are suspected to create problems for the environment around the fracturing site. This has resulted into a problem in the fracking market.
