A Florida man has been arrested after he allegedly threw dog feces at his pregnant girlfriend and punched her.

The woman said she and Daniel Redding, 25, were driving down the 700 block of Southwest 38th Avenue in Ocala when they started arguing.

Redding was angry because the dog took a dump on the floorboard, and the couple started arguing.

That's when Redding picked up all of the poo and threw it at her. He then punched his girlfriend — who was seven months pregnant — several times in the head. She punched him back in the face.

He then grabbed the steering wheel and jerked it back and forth, she stopped the car in the middle of the road.

Redding fled the scene, but police were able to find him at Westwood Mobile Home Park. He was taken to Marion County Jail and charged with aggravated battery.

Redding denies hitting his girlfriend. He says she punched him in the face.
