The New England Patriots will play host to the Indianapolis Colts in the Divisional round of the NFL Playoffs this Saturday night at Gillette Stadium.
The Patriots are the No. 2 seed in the AFC with a 12-4 record. The Colts are the No. 4 seed and trail New England by only one win with a regular season record of 11-5. The Patriots are undefeated this year at home with a spotless 8-0 mark.
Three of the five losses by the Colts this year came on the road, however they have also managed to pull off some pretty solid wins away from home, including the San Francisco 49ers and the Kansas City Chiefs. Quarterback Andrew Luck has finished the season strong and has been coming through for the team in the clutch. Indianapolis is in the midst of a four-game winning streak, which includes an amazing 45-44 comeback win over Kansas City in the Wild Card round.
The Colts will also have to deal with the unbearable cold of Gillette Stadium. The Colts are a great dome team, but have struggled a bit when forced to play outside. Will the weather be a factor is Saturday's game?
Facing Brady and the Patriots at home will be a huge test for Indianapolis. New England is also favored on the books, but some experts believe that the Colts may be able to pull off the upset.
Brady will have to watch his back for Colts rush linebacker Robert Mathis, but he should have some tricks up his sleeve. The Pats defense, meanwhile, will need to deal with Luck's Hulk-like strength.
Will the Colts punter get another chance to post naked pictures of Luck and other players during the celebrations? Or will it be another day at the office for Brady and Belichick?
