Rihanna is set to be honored for her fashion sense. The singer has been selected to receive the Council of Fashion Designers of America's Fashion Icon Award. The award is presented to people whose style makes an impact on pop culture around the world. Rihanna will be honored at a celebration in New York on June 02.
Cher kicked off her Dressed to Kill Tour in Phoenix, Arizona over the weekend. The legendary singer performed for a sold-out crowd with a show that included 20 songs spanning her decades long career. Cher is scheduled to tour North America throughout the spring, wrapping in California in July.
And in other music news, George Michael racked up his seventh British number one album as his "Symphonica" took the top spot in the U.K. charts.
