Adam Clegg, Video Game Designer of Sony Online Entertainment talks about the new release of Planetside 2 on the Playstation 4.

Update: Sony Online Entertainment has contacted us to confirm that this video footage is, as expected, fake. Looks like we'll have to wait a little longer before we can see PlanetSide 2 running on PS4.

The whereabouts of PlanetSide 2 is fairly big concern for a lot of PS4 gamers who are as excited to play the open world MMOFPS as they are to actually play something new.

A YouTube video detailing was is supposed to be PS4 gameplay footage and a clip of the PSN Store with a 26 May 2014 release date.

However, the link attached to the YouTube video directing viewers to the PSN store only heads to placeholder page for PlanetSide 2. Hardly concrete evidence.

And the gameplay itself is HUD-less, so there isn't really any indication that this is indeed PS4 footage. It could quite as easily been recorded from a PC with the HUD removed.
