Chiraanjeevi- South superstar Chiranjeevi had a huge fan following which amassed him major success in politics. His fan-following as an actor was easily convertible into votebanks. The star formed the Praja Rajyam Party which later became the largest and the favorite party in Andhra's State Assembly elections.
Amitabh Bachchan- Amitabh Bachchan has been an active citizen but his political career remained only for a short period. This legendary star entered into politics to support his family friend Rajiv Gandhi, but soon realized that politics was not his cup of tea and resigned after 3 years. Currently, Big B is favoring his wife Jaya Bachchan's Samajwadi Party!
