This is all that can now be seen of the South Korean ferry, which capsized off the coast of Jeju island on Wednesday.
Only the hull is visible, the rest of the ferry submerged along with what's believed to be many of its 475 passengers.
(SOUNDBITE) SOUTH KOREAN COAST GUARD OFFICIAL KO MYUNG-SEOK SAYING:
"If the ferry had not listed, people could run away. However, it was difficult as the ferry listed 50-60 degrees, so that there will be many victims. And we need to find out why the ferry sunk in a very short period of time."
Only 149 people have been rescued and a massive search continues for hundreds still missing.
Most of them were students and teachers from the same high school.
It's not known why the ferry sank but the company operating it has expressed regret.
