The holiday travel season is now upon us which means that many of us will be taking to the friendly skies in order to visit family and friends across the globe. Flying can be a pain, especially during the busy holidays. We here at NMA have some tips that will hopefully make this year's travel more enjoyable and relaxing.
Tip number one is to travel light. With all the extra costs airlines are now adding on, it can help your wallet by packing less stuff. Make sure you get to the airport early. Long gone are the days when you could show up about half an hour before your flight and still make it on the plane with time to spare. Sure, now there are automated kiosks to help you check-in faster, but it still takes forever. And in the end, you'll still have to waste time talking to an airline worker that just seems to take forever to get you one your way.
When boarding, fake an injury so that you can get on the plane sooner. The more serious the injury, the faster you'll get on. Also be sure to bring an abnormally large carry-on with you as well. When you're storing it, make sure to put it in an overhead bin that is no where near your seat.
Make sure people sitting next to you understand it's YOUR armrest. Don't forget to play video games with the sound on and always remember to use your 'outside' voice. Take your time in the bathroom; others don't mind. Most importantly, make yourself comfortable by fully reclining and kicking the seat in front of you for the duration of the flight. Have a nice flight!
