Led Zeppelin to release deluxe edition albums of their studio work

Legendary rockers Led Zeppelin have been digging through their vault and are set to re-release new shinier versions of not one, not two but all of their nine studio albums.

The first batch of re-issues are special editions of the band's first three albums all of which include previously unreleased music.

In a statement, guitarist Jimmy Page, who remastered all the material, described the companion discs as "a selection of work in progress with rough mixes, backing tracks, alternate versions, and new material recorded at the time."

Led Zeppelin's self-titled debut album from 1969 will feature material from a previously unreleased performance recorded at the Olympia Theatre in Paris that year.

"Led Zeppelin II", the follow up, which contains some of the band's most iconic rock 'n' roll songs will offer alternate mixes including "Whole Lotta Love".
