Shots ring out in eastern Ukraine.

In this amateur video Reuters cannot independently verify, the Ukrainian National Guard tries to disperse a crowd outside a municipal building.

The Interfax-Ukraine news agency said one man was killed and a second injured after members of a battalion fired shots as a crowd tried to block their entry.

No official word on where the shots came from.
