A court in Egypt has sentenced former President Hosni Mubarak to three years in prison on charges of stealing public funds.
His sons Alaa and Gamal were also convicted and handed four-year terms.
The three have been fined around 2.2 million euro and ordered to repay the 12.8 million they are accused of embezzling.
Mubarak, 86, is currently standing trial for abuse of power and complicity in the killing of protesters in the 2011 uprising that forced him from power.
He’s being held under house arrest in a military hospital in Cairo.
