Mariah Carey recently got all dressed up for a trip out with her kids. The 45-year-old singer actually wore what appears to be a floor length ball gown for an outing to the playground.

Carey posted photos of her and the twins’ trip on Instagram. In one image, she’s pushing the kiddies on a swing, looking just slightly out of place in the super-casual park.

In a caption, she comically remarked “Sinking into the rubber mats”. Aside from that, the celebrity mom appeared to be happy playing with her children, Moroccan and Monroe.

The twins looked more than content to spend some time at the playground and as most parents already know, when the kids are happy, everybody’s happy.

As for Carey, she seems to be on a ball gown kick of sorts.

Just last week, she took a little ride on a Manhattan subway, decked out in a glittery ball gown. In addition to the cleavage bearing, floor length dress with a thigh high slit, Carey also donned a pair of cut-off elegant gloves and sunglasses.

She showcased a big, beautiful smile to symbolize she was making the best out of sampling ordinary life.
