Preview of sand sculptures ahead of the Twelfth International Sand Sculpture Festival in Søndervig which this year jumps 1000 years back through time to an era where Denmark and all of northern Europe were ruled by Vikings. In four days, 38 artists will transform 8000 tons of sand into art. The official opening is this Thursday.
