In the days of going automatic with every possible gadget, with no exception to the cars, Tata’s upcoming hatchback ‘Bolt’ AMT is about to bring in the new era in the automotive field, which will be entitled as the India’s cheapest diesel automatic.
In the present scenario of India, the cheapest diesel automatic is the Hyundai Verna, which costs Rs 11 lakh at the least, but a one fallen down the one million INR mark will be sold in numbers and that’s where Tata Motors is going to cash in.
Hopefully to be powered by a 1.3-litre quadrajet diesel engine that has been powering the Tata Vista and Manza, the Tata Bolt AMT will make 75PS of peak power at the initial stage with a more powerful 90PS option expected to follow soon. The AMT planted on it will be seen on the Nano AMT too.
