Her man had a vasectomy
and she a thyroidectomy.
He had to watch his 'p's' and 'q's'
and stay away from too much booze.

She couldn't swallow for some days,
it was post op, the healing phase.
So, all in all, it worked out well
as far as anyone can tell.

You see, whenever someone ties
the vas that carries little guys
from deep within those balls of fire,
the operation makes for dire

low volume and slow motion straits.
Which may stay hidden from his mates
but would affect - through lack of cream -
the little fellow's self esteem.

In this case, though the operation
had numbed interior neck sensation.
As the amount was not diminished
she could not know when he was finished.

But, strangely, as I understand
he missed that little thyroid gland.
Said she, my lovely, let us hush
some day we'll have a Royal gush.
