Cate Blanchett was among the honorees at the 2014 Crystal + Lucy Awards in Los Angeles Wednesday (June 11) night.
The Oscar winning actress walked the red carpet before receiving the award for Excellence In Film.

"I mean, I had hopes at some point I might garner the respect of women, and people in the film industry who I respect, and there are so many of them here tonight and who have received the award before me."
The Crystal + Lucy Awards involve a fundraising dinner which support Women In Film's educational and philanthropic programs.
Others being honored included actress Rose Byrne the "Face Of The Future" award and Eva Longoria was the recipient of the Humanitarian Award, for her work outside of acting.
Women In Film have held awards annually since 1977.
