The Qur'an let it be,

For all the worlds to see,

The Holy Book, the Kalam of Allah,

A Guide, a Light, shining from afar,

A Jewel, a Gift, a Sacred Treasure,

To hear and recite, an utmost pleasure.

The Qur'an let it remain,

A Healer of pain,

Softener of hearts, opening the eye,

Revealed and received, from the One who is Most High,

Warning and assuring, soothing and striking,

A Book to cheer hearts, submitted to Allah's liking.

The Qur'an let it stay,

To Guide us along the Straight way,

Purifying souls and cleansing them,

Implanting itself inside, from a seed to a stem,

Shooting open its leaves, widening the heart,

Splitting darkness and light, far apart.

The Qur'an let it be forever,

Intelligent, wise and words so clever,

A Gift from the Creator, up Above,

Showing compassion, forgiveness and immeasurable love,

Sustenance of the heart, food for the mind,

In it, perfect satisfaction, our souls shall find
