It’s been a week now
Since I last heard from you
I thought that it would be easier to go on
If I never saw your name again

I do not want you
And I do not need you

Things are easier said…than done

I miss the way you speak so coyly
And
The way you make me feel inferior

You’d think that I’d be happy
To finally rid myself of those feelings

But loneliness makes me feel much worse
And I’d give anything to feel insecure once more

It’s been a week now
Since I last heard from you
I wish that you’d come back
I’m waiting for your call
