global warming
one day we will all be
Venice
Venice waters
an impressionistic dream
crystalising
Venice
flowing all over
blessing and curse
Italy
Venice is built on 117 small islands, holds 150 canals, and is connected by 409 bridges. The city's famous water villages, however, are slowly sinking into the marshy land and if restorative construction does not continue, the world will lose one of its best treasures. For now though, you still have plenty of time to enjoy a lazy stroll through the winding streets and canals, and admire the intricate architecture of the piazzas, churches, and museums.
