The featherless bird in a lonely sunset
Who decided at last to make its roost on a skeletal tree?
'It's very strange my dear and why did you choose this old barren tree?
Exactly you must be tired, thirsty and hungry
But how do I treat you as a hostess? 'The suppressed tree nagged.
'Take it easy my beloved and we are in the same boat.
I cannot fly anymore in the vast sky as they have plucked my golden feathers.
If you are willing to collaborate at least we can die together peacefully here.' The ugly bird replied.
*I sadly dedicate this poem to all Grandmas and Grandpas who are turning pages in the fugitive book of life?
