Even thought I can see your beauty,
I fail to recognize, I fail to admit;
You shall be trapped in my claustrophobic heart,
And I shall keep you with me, at all times!

But when times of doubt and despair come,
Would you be able to shed light on the truth?
Would you be willing to reveal yourself to me,
Like a flame reveals itself to darkness?

Would you stand tall, even cry with me,
Or would you be scared and run away, in oblivion,
Like all the other memories I had?
Will you be my most memorable moment?

The one that faces all the whirling storms,
All the black days, to make me feel safe again?
Will you be the memory that puts a smile,
On my face after I’ve cried?
