The day seems to have escaped me,
There's nothing left but night,
The darkness that seems to creep,
Closer than you'd like,
The light runs from sight,
Until it’s gone there’s nothing left,
Just you and the darkness,
A continues cycle that never ends,
It’s always happening somewhere,
Around one corner or a bend,
There's nowhere you can run,
There's nowhere you can hide,
Because where ever you go it will eventually get you.
