When worldly people cause upsets in life,
And times keep changing for the worse for you-
The principled-good suffer in strife:
You have to still your duty rightly do!
Our earthly troubles can’t worry us long;
Our grief and joys are also transient;
Our conscience tells us what is right and wrong;
Our lives are guided by the Omniscient.
Our tormentors will suffer for their wrongs;
Our sufferings end like the seasons too;
Our ears will hear consoling, pleasant songs;
Mysteriously, many things God can do!
No failures need upset our minds for long;
God fills the air soon with His happy song.
