The founder and leader of MQM Mr. Altaf Hussain called former President Pervez Musharraf on Thursday evening and congratulated him on the removal of his name from the exit control list (ECL).
“The Court’s verdict is triumph of truth. Your lawyers’ team fought your case in the court of law with confidence. They deserve praise for their great work, “ Mr. Hussain said.
Mr. Hussain expressed his concern over the illness of his mother. “I pray to Allah for her recovery. I pray that you meet her as soon as possible, “ Mr. Hussain said.
Former President Pervez Musharraf thanked Mr. Hussain for his support. “You and your party supported me because of your principles. I am thankful to you and your party for raising voice for getting me justice from the court.
He also praised Mr. Hussain and his party for showing restraint after his arrest. He added that the way your workers and supporters expressed solidarity with you in dozens of places in hot weather was praiseworthy.
