His eyes scan the steadfast slashes and jots,
Lying sketched on the pages, agéd words from dots,
Wise words from the scroll.

His parlance skims the flowing, phraséd language,
Breath in, formed brogue in deep, smooth speech,
Ears of young take hold.

His passion rises, ascending, leaning over, eyes wide!
Though we understand not, the story moves along,
Denouement told.

My mind skips a happy, indelible beat,
The closing vocal beauty ends, descending fully,
Yet Something more unfolds,

Blessed is he who knows.
