Young Albie has ambition to appease
And he doesn't see a future on clearing trees
He says I'll be a carpenter by trade
And be right up there with the highly paid.

Young Albie likes to keep his tongue at bay
He really does not have that much to say
He keeps his peace he doesn't give words away
And feel lucky if he say to you 'good day'.

Young Albie has a strong liking for beer
And he feels partial to his pot of cheer
And though I've never seen him drink it has been said
That he doesn't let the booze go to his head.

Young Albie he is sturdily built and strong
And I'd hate to be the one to do him wrong
For you don't rubbish person who is quiet
As he can do some damage when he fight.

Young Albie is the quietest man I know
And feel lucky if to you he say hello
But he has got ambition to appease
And he doesn't see a future on clearing trees.
