you are going to leave me.

I want to say no no no
but I know it is your decision
and yours alone.

I respect you
for wanting to make the world a better place
with freedom and peace for all.

You fight your way
and I fight my way.
We don't fight the same way
but we want to achieve the same thing.

I am proud af you
for taking a stand
and fighting for it.

But I am not ready
to loose you
not ready to let you go.

You are so far away now
and you will be so much further away
when you leave.

I wish you could stay
I know you can't.

I wish I could make you promise
to come back safe
but nobody can make that promise.

I wish I could tell you
I love you
and that you will always
be in my heart.

Take good care of yourself
and please come back to me.

I will ask God to be by your side.
