We have to believe in something
In order to get through life
We have to believe in someone
A parent, a husband or wife

We must reach toward tomorrow
To make a plan that will work
We have to stick to that plan
It’s not something we can shirk

For the days will drift right on by
No matter what we do
So easy it is to drift along with it
Has this ever happened to you?

So let’s put a plan in motion today
Make it clear what we want to achieve
Our lives will be much richer for it
Ah yes, we simply have to believe!
