Spring has sprung after the rain
Showers made the meadow so green
The seeds sprout, the pine trees dance
Transporting so many vibrant flowers,
Scrumptious fruits and vegetables to
wake up my taste buds and vision
While they all joyfully sing,
Oh what a wonderful world this is
Then, summer swings in
The sand is sizzling and
the waves are wild
But, best of all is to jog by,
The seashore pulls every muscle
on my feet and legs, as I zoom by
Subsequently, my body is a surf board
Made of cells, veins, and blood
Back to school in lukewarm autumn
When all the leaves decide to fall
All my friends, teachers, and teammates
I see, as we rumble through the corridor
Crackling foliage on moist, dark, rich soil
Cats rustle through abandoned leaves
As my dogs go frolicking in the garden
After that, winter is so bitter sweet
With chilly weather beating on me
As I run through the neighborhood
to stay fit and obviously strong
No sense in letting my muscles
grow week and meek
Rarely do I need a jacket
because the sunshine state bears no snow
So through the year and the four seasons
I have reason to live, love, and laugh
With extraordinary people,
embedded in my heart
