Eyes they're brown, blue, gray, or green,
Can be happy, sad, mad, or mean.
Eyes they sit above the nose,
Windows open, windows close.
Come on inside, look around,
Stories waiting to be found.
See the passion, or despair,
Pages blank are truly rare.
When you look into the eyes,
You will see they tell no lies.
Sparkles gone or dull of hue,
Story of pain they tell you.
Blinking, shifting, left, or right,
Beware, beware, all's not right.
Mothers do it, fathers, too,
Read their children's eyes so true.
So look deep to see their goal,
The eyes~Windows to the soul.
