My life is rarely easy and I don’t much care to stay,
yet I woke up this very morning all bright and oh so gay.
Something deep inside me is keeping the Reaper at bay,
be it just for now, or for the entire day.
Its been such a lovely day what with the reaper being so far away.
Yet I know he’ll come visit me when my day is again very grey.
Tomorrow, I fear is coming, where I’ll pray he will take me away.
No matter what the angels say, my decision will never sway.
The time is now upon me and he comes to show me the way.
We walk through a tunnel of light, so I know I’ll not lose my way.
I stand before god himself who opens the book of Life.
I’m judge upon my actions from my birth up until my demise.
Memories from my very birth flash before my eyes,
right up to the present day which wasn’t very nice!
I realize this is Judgment day for which I’m bound to fail.
Yet he lifts his hands, and low and behold, I’m back to start again!
