A lonely lullaby
A plethora of emotion
As I drift into the night

Meet my ears with sweet serenade
Soothe my heart so I don't cry
Fall away from my embrace
As all tend to in due time

Break reality with melody
Forge a false devotion soon to die
Ease the nightmares; feed the dreams
Let me from melancholy fly

I ache for someone to cling to
I easily will swallow the lie
Lend me your voice of beauty
