You tell me that you love me
This I do not doubt
When I am with you
I see what love is all about

For many years I thought
I knew love so well
But you have showed me
I've been living in a shell

I thought love was a feeling
So that was all it took
I thought love was complete
With just, an I love you look

But you have showed me
Love needs to be expressed
If you love someone tell them
Don't make them have to guess

Say the words that your heart feels
Gentle words of love you should speak
Let them know they are the one
Who still makes your knees go weak

Tell them that when you see them
Your heart skips a beat
Tell them you always get a thrill
Whenever you two meet

No one will know you love them
If you don't say it's so
If you wait too long to say it
They may soon be on the go

So express the love you feel
Every chance you get
Always let each other know
How happy you are that you met
