I live as roses live
Boldly, brightly, fervently - protective of each delicate petal.
Survival in vain.
From the hard, dry Earth, a demon in red-hooded disguise.
Attention void of expectation, yet showered upon like cold rain.
Angry pointed fingers
Prick the bloody extensions that wrap around...clinging to my existence.
In despair, I lay my head fraily.
The struggle finally over.
Disperse me over the ground.
Let me die as roses are intended...
