He wore no cape of gold
Just wore his heart on his sleeve
He sang her the morning melodies
And lulled her to slumber too
But one day a knight
Swept his muse off her feet
He was then left in the cold
With nothing but an icy burden
A burden of hurt, pain and
A beating heart laid on his palm
This he he has offered to her
Red, beating, bleeding and all
But it wasn't enough, no
And away he disappeared
Until he could no longer
Hear the piercing of his cry
