Surrounded by people, yet so alone,
Wishes for someone to call the phone,
No trusted friends, a broken family,
Pointless life is wandered through idly.
There is no hope, there is no love,
No purity and no white dove.
Tears well up in the corners of eyes,
But is blinked away with a longing sigh.

Never stood up for, never belonging,
Heart beats the song of the longing.
Feels useless and lonely,
Drowning in the dejected sea.
Understand that this person is broke,
When at her open wounds you poke.
