A couple in South Florida is now parents to not just one baby, but three. The triplets were born right before Father’s Day so they served as the perfect little presents.
Although the trio of bundles was born on Friday the 13th, they’re being referred to as the ‘lucky triplets’. The new mom and dad, Dianna and Marlon Bustos tried for 13 years to have their own babies.
For over a decade they experimented with fertility treatments. Unfortunately nothing happened, but they decided to give it one final try.
That’s when Dianna became pregnant with the couple’s three girls. She delivered the infants at 36 weeks.
Each weighed between 4 and 5 pounds. Dianna commented “It's a miracle. I still can't believe it. I feel like I'm still dreaming. I still can't accept that they're mine, and they're here, and it's our babies.” Marlon is equally ecstatic about the new arrivals.
The triplets are reportedly doing just fine. According to Dianna and Marlon, the little girls are already fans of South Florida’s basketball team, the 'Miami Heat’.
