I lost my jewels in a dream,
That in my open eyes did gleam!
And so I went in search of them,
Though could not find a single gem.
I lost my golden chest of diamonds!
I lost my soul on silver islands!
And finally I died, alone,
And was buried beneath a slab of stone.
