I DID NOT WRITE IN RAGE

I did not write in rage
And seek a name in righteous anger
I did not know how to hate
Not enough
And to curse
Almost not at all
I did not know how to make my pain
Revenge and Bitterness
The Fury of the most Destructive feeling-

I was too calm
And too quiet
And too eager for Peace
And Time to be let alone in-

I did not enter the world as a warrior
And I conquered nothing
Oh what a poor old weak nice guy I have been
Without the Rage of Greatness
Or the Fury of the Monstrously Powerful Soul.
