The sigh of one bank
and the merriment of other
under the cover of dense mist
through the roaring waves
my boat and I
carry them to cross over
while
I measure the depth
and count the blueness
my boat silently drops
the grains of our misfortune
in the chest of the tide
either to feed the river
or to float away
