Four Taliban militants targeted a NATO post in Eastern Afghanistan, destroying dozens of trucks.
Everything happened in a parking compound at this base near Torkham crossing, not far from the border with Pakistan.

"It was 4:30 a.m. in the morning when a car with four suicide bombers entered the base. After it entered the base, our troops opened fire and the car was set ablaze."
One attacker blew himself up, while police killed the other three.
At least 37 trucks containing fuel and other supplies were destroyed in explosions set off by the attackers.
One Afghan driver was injured.
The Taliban confirmed that it was behind the attack.
