Wouldn't it be great if we could build new roads, bridges, retaining walls and parking lots without spending taxpayers' dollars?
I think it is foolish that previous city leaders have not gone after private corporations and their money to work on the city's infrastructure issues or new roads.
I have been deeply involved with the private sector and I will be using my experience and contacts within that sector to start getting major corporations to pay for city infrastructure. It means that you're going to have to tolerate a few more Logos here and there, but why would that matter if you get to keep more of your own money?
These are difficult economic times, and the way of thinking that has been utilized up until now can no longer benefit us. It takes a man with imagination, knowledge and guts to get this type of thing done and I am that man! Vote Kevin Jackal Johnston for mayor of Mississauga!
