Ukrainian President Petro Poroshenko visits an army hospital in Kiev Saturday to talk to soldiers wounded during a military operation against pro-Russian separatists.

He awards state medals and thanks them on behalf of the Ukrainian people.

On Friday Poroshenko ordered a ceasefire until June 27 as part of his plan to end the rebel insurgency in the east of the country.
