We sent a rocket into space
looking for that secret place
where extra terrestrials might embrace

We went to explore other life forms
to try to discover alien norms
to see how another being performs

Critics tried to sound the horn
to the congress, tried to warn
it’s nothing more then space age porn

It’s an imposing goal that we pursue
all the data we must construe
from a spaceship named the Voyeur Two
