Curfew has been imposed on Bannu-Miranshah Road for idefinite period of time after the deadline expired today (Wednesday), Dunya News reported.
Due to curfew, relocation of IDPs from North Waziristan areas has halted.
According to official sources, another 440 families comprising 4,916 individuals have been registered as IDPs in Bannu and its adjacent districts.
FATA Disaster Management Authority told the state radio that total number of IDPs has now reached 455,597.
According to Deputy Commissioner of Dera Ismail Khan, twenty five thousand IDPs have arrived in the district.
Three ration distribution points have been established for IDPs at Bannu, two at Dera Ismail Khan and one at Tank.
Detailed distribution of 4473 Tons of Ration for 40000 families has commenced from today. Each ration bag carries 20/80 kg of flour as per size of the family, cooking oil 5 Litre, dhall 9 kg, date 1 kg, and tea 1 kg, the ISPR reported.
32 Relief goods collection points have been established by Army in all major cities of the country for collection of donations.
